Mission 1: Spread the Wonderful Love to the World!

We want to spread the word about Wonder Girls to the rest of the world. And, the biggest show in America that often would be shown all over the world, would be the Oprah Winfrey show! Yeah, are you getting the idea here? We want all the wonderfuls to bomb their inbox full of clips and messages about bringing the wonder girls to the show. They should invite our girls to the show and that would be awesome you know that ^^

INTRO:
Hello Wonderfuls!
As you may have heard that the Wonder Girls are going to debut in America, May 5 2009. That’s amazing news, especially international fans from spectacle or Yongwonhi.

We (Yongwonhi) have been working on Mission 1: spread our wonderful love to the world. You may have seen our banner. The mission contains sending messages to American shows like Ellen G’s show, The Oprah Winfrey show, Tyra Banks show and The Rachael Ray Show. On the messages we have written about our amazing Wonder Girls, their history, their profile and fun facts about them. Not to forget that we also put youtube links (MV, perfs, radio shows where they sing English songs) and photos of the girls. Don’t forget to put the interviews of the girls speaking in English and the recently news about the girls debuting in America. You can also do clips and put it on youtube, making the title like “please get WG on … show”.

We want to spread the love and the talent about our girls to the world and make them more famous and loved than before. Hahah, We’re going to bombarding their inbox with thousands of emails every day. But we can’t do that without you guys, so join our mission and spread our wonderful love to the world.

NOTE: On The Oprah Winfrey show, you only have 2000 max words/characters – so fill out the blanks and make it short as possible to it. Don’t write too much , because I did and wasn’t able to send it xD
– On Ellen show, you only have 1500 max words characters.
– On Rachael ray show, I couldn’t find the link for it. So You can start to tell them a story about how Wonder Girls means to you or how they have changed your life in a way that you love them so much.
Most of the site got the blank location from US, just pick one and introduce yourself in the message box.

Current Activities @ Yongwonhi

–MISSION 1: SPREAD THE WONDERFUL LOVE TO THE WORLD
As its name suggests, this project aims to spread the wonder to the rest of the world, by spreading the word about Wonder Girls! This particular project aims to get Wonder Girls on various American shows, such as Oprah Show, Tyra Banks Show, Rachel Ray, and so forth.

–YE + SM BIRTHDAY PROJECT 2009
This project involves Ye Eun and Sun Mi, whose birthdays will be coming up in May (May 2nd for Sun Mi & May 27th for Ye Eun). And so, we’re starting extra early. 😀

Currently, we’re in need of many donations to make this project successful. So if you can help out, please do!

“Ye Eun + Sun Mi” Birthday Project Has Been Launched!

The “Ye Eun + Sun Mi” project has just been launched at Yongwonhi, which will span from now to the end of April. Although their birthdays are quite a while away, we are not taking any chances: 😛 The more time we have, the more organized we’ll be–hopefully. XD

You will find, this project is going to be handled quite differently from our past projects. For one, we are combing Ye Eun’s and Sun Mi’s birthdays into one. Secondly, this project is going to end quite early. This is to ensure we’ll have enough time in the end to finalize the project and take care of whatever is needed to in the end.

In addition to this, we will be sending two different packages. One will be shipped at the beginning of April for Sun Mi (as her birthday is in early May) and the second one will be shipped in late April for Ye Eun (whose birthday will be coming up in late May).

Their birthdays are a month apart, but at the same time, they are only a month apart. So, by combining their birthdays together, it’ll save us the trouble of having to launch and take care of two projects at the same time, when their destinations are the same. And by shipping two different packages, Ye Eun’s gift won’t come too early or Sun Mi’s gift won’t come too late. On top of this, we’ll have more time to focus on Ye Eun’s package after Sun Mi’s package is completed.

CURRENTLY
Right now, we are currently taking gift suggestions. This will only be opened until Feb. 15th, after which, the polls for the gifts will be opened. So if you have an ideas, speak up! 😛

Also, the thread has been opened for those of you who want to send your own gift to Ye Eun and/or Sun Mi. Keep in mind, you’ll have to include a $20 shipping fee for your gift, and in no way, are explicit and/or offending material allowed. And time will fly by before you can even take notice. So if you have a gift to send, please send it to the designated person in charge of the gifts, as soon as possible, so if problems arise, we’ll have more time to take care of them efficiently.

And while all this organization is still going on, we are working on a birthday cards compilation for our girls. Again, explicit and offending material is absolutley not allowed. This portion of the project will only span until the end of March, as we plan to end this project early, to ensure we have extra time to finalize everything and take care of whatever is needed. So if you’d like Ye Eun and Sun Mi to received a card from you, head on over to Yongwonhi forums now!

And as always, we’re taking as many donations as we can. The more we have, the better chances we’ll have of taking the project to its full extent. So if you’d like to help out, by all means, please do.

ALL IN ALL
This is our fourth “forum-wide” project that has been launched, and it will be our very first project, in celebration of  Ye Eun’s and Sun Mi’s birthday. Like our past projects, I hope this project will be successful, too.

“Christmas For WG” a Success!

Hi Yongwonhi,

As you guys know, we held a Christmas Project for the Wonder Girls- the Christmas cards. I was disappointed when I didn’t receive many christmas cards to send out, but whatever I recieved- I mailed out. The shipping rate was actually very expensive, around $12.00. $11.95, to be exact. That was the lowest rate as well, arriving to destination from 6-10 days.

Thank you for those who participated(3) and donated(2) in this project. Hopefully, we will have more donators, and more participants for our future projects.

Side Note: Theresa & Lina- your mini card was really cute! Just had to tell you guys that.

“Christmas For Wonder Girls”

“Christmas for Wonder Girls” has also recently been launched. Originally, we did not plan to have this project, as “Back to the Beginning” is a big project to handle. However, because members have shown interest in a Christmas project, this project was, thus, launched.

This particular project, as stated by its name, is a Christmas project for Wonder Girls. Having been launched a few weeks ago, it will span from now to until the middle of December, if things go as planned.

This project will be a small one, as most of the attention will be directed at “Back to the Beginning.” Nevertheless, we will still carry on this project as planned.

Currently, suggestions are being taken as well as donations. Gifts include Bath and Body Works pack, Christmas cards, hooded jackets, and more.

Please come and help us out, as there is only one month left. Personal gifts, too, are being accepted. However, if there are not people helping out with the gifts and donations, this project will be canceled, as it was started upon requests from members.

“Back to the Beginning”

“Back to the Beginning” is Yonwonhi’s project for Wonder Girls’ 2nd anniversary, which will be on Feb. 10, 2009. This project has been pre-launched on Sept. 6 of 2008, and will continue on until the middle of January. We have much planned for this project. Planning is almost over. After this, we’ll be focusing on gathering the gifts and donations and sending these gifts to Wonder Girls in Korea.

Gifts will include a mini-album for Wonder Girls, individual gift sets, a memory lane scrapbook, and much, much more.

If you would like to send a personal gift to Wonder Girls, please visit the forums. The same goes for participating in the gifts!

This will be our biggest project thus far. Because of that, we hope everyone will be able to join us and help us make this possible! Come show your support and love for Wonder Girls!
